Little Thurrock Primary School has a welcoming and friendly atmosphere and when you visit us you will see a school where the unique qualities of every child are recognised and celebrated. The staff, parents and governors work hard to ensure that each child is given the opportunity to reach their potential and achieve their best regardless of their starting points. We also want our children to enjoy every aspect of school; our children are proud to be part of Little Thurrock and they enjoy having a say in what we do.
We want our children to develop a life-long love of learning and develop the range of skills needed to become independent, mature and emotionally literate individuals. We know this can only happen in a supportive and caring environment where each child feels valued.
We are committed to providing a curriculum that inspires and motivates all children; a curriculum that is interesting and challenging, one that stimulates young minds and promotes a thirst for learning. We want our children to leave primary school fully prepared and looking forward to the next stage of their education, whilst looking back with fond memories of their time with us.
