Year 4 visit to Colchester Castle

On 29th November, Year 4 went to Colchester Castle as part of their History topic on Romans.

Whilst there, they explored the undergound vaults and listened to the guide explain how Colchester Castle was a Roman temple, which was then burnt to the ground by the Celts. Children got the opportunity to explore the museum and even tried on Roman and Celtic costumes! Additionally, they took part in a team building activitiy, where they were required to build a large model of a Roman Villa and a Celtic Round House.
