Year 6 visit to The Co-op

On Friday 12th January 2024, Year 6 visited our local Co-op. 

This local visit was an experience day for Year 6, fo their DT and Geograghy topic on Fairtrade. Whilst there, children learnt what Fairtrade is, who it supports and the products it produces. They were fortunate enough to see the basement where food is held, the large fridge and freezer and even had the chance to go up on the shop floor to compare Fairtrade products to non-Fairtrade products. What a fantastic 'hook' day.
