Sustrans Big Walk and Wheel

From Monday 11th March to Friday 22nd March, Little Thurrock Primary engaged in Sustrans Big Walk and Wheel. 

Every day, classes logged their journey to school, in hope of winning some fantastic prizes. This was to continue to encourage and promote active and sustainable travel to and from school. Additionally, it is to encourage a safer environment when arriving and leaving school.

To begin Sustrans Big Walk and Wheel 15th Anniversary celebrations, Mr Broyd introduced this event in assembly on Monday 11th March. You can view the assembly by clicking the link above. 

 

The end result

At the end of the 2 weeks, this was our overall performance and the badges we had earned:

 

Whilst place 394th sounds very low down, it was out of over 2000 schools. When filtered, our school was 5th in Essex!
